The PSS8 can be placed in both prime and standby applications so it is just as appropriate for a remote pump as it is for your house.

The Winco PSS8B2W emergency standby generator is an industrial grade 8kW generator. The three chamber housing design keeps the generator cool while allowing for the smallest footprint in its class. The industrial V-Twin Briggs & Stratton Vanguard engine provides smooth and consistent power that is capable of running essential loads like sump pumps, well pumps, furnaces, refrigerators, TV’s, lights and computers. Since this generator is sized to keep the basics running you will also be able to save money on fuel and maintenance.

Vapor Fuel Strainer

If contaminants enter the fuel system of your Winco emergency standby system you will experience reduced power output and decreased reliability. Winco provides 40 microns of filtration with the demand regulator that is included standard on each air-cool Packaged Standby System. It is a wise investment to add the vapor fuel strainer. This device provides a redundant layer of protection to prevent troublesome contamination that can enter your fuel system from a variety of sources.

Engine Oil Heater

Keeps oil warm in frigid climates for easier starts and minimizes engine wear.

Battery Heater Air Cooled

The battery blanket prevents the battery from freezing and keeps it at an optimal operating temperature in cold environments. This battery heater kit plugs into the second factory installed receptacle or into the engine heater kit receptacle, depending upon the customer’s specific configuration. The battery blanket is not a UL2200 listed option. The small battery blanket is compatible with all WINCO air-cooled emergency standby generators.
